WHITE WOLF VAMPIRE MASQUERADE

Vampire Masquerade is a Role Playing Game devised by the games company White Wolf Publishing. The game is usually set in a Modern ‘Urban’ setting and its overall story premise is quite simple yet made rich and in depth by interrelating characterisations of Vampire Clans that are attractive to varying psychological types of personalities. One can apply the game structure in regards to that of different types of ‘Sorcerer’ Clans in relation to Magickal Orientations and how they relate to one another as a ‘Hypothetical Experiment’ of Creative Conjecture and Cross-Reference!

ACTING OF ROLE-PLAYING PERSONALITY TYPES

In the game Vampire Masquerade there are essentially Seven Vampire Clans: Brujah, Gangrel, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere and Ventrue. In general and in rough outline of description:

CHAOS MAGICK, SHAMANISM AND MAD NECROMANTIC SPIRITUALISTS

The Brujah are Anarchistic Idealists one could equate with those who are intrigued by Chaos Magick, while the Gangrel are wildly Nomadic close to Nature that one to perceive as Shamanistic Practitioners to cover various Shamanic cultures who experience the universe as a living entity amidst a myriad number of others floating within the ocean of Hyperspace. The Malkavians have a tendency to become possessed by something quite other like that of Mediums and Spiritualists to be ridden by other entities/Loa one could construe as being primarily followers of Voodoo.

CYBER-PUNK TECHNO SHAMANISM UNDERGROUND

As for the Nosferatu they are perceived as being grotesque of form in the game but are highly adept at Information gathering one can equate with urban Cyber-Punk-Shamanism to weave Magick via Cybernetics in other words they are knowledgeable about ones hard-wiring and imprinted programs to Hack and are highly versed in virtual reality systems and the creation of synthetic mind altering substances; suffice to say they to believe we all to exist within a Mainframe Matrix of Super-Computer!

SORCERER ARTIST ALL SURREAL OF SURREALIST

The Toreador, are Surreal Artists and visionaries to perceive as those who are adept at Sigil Magick to affect the world around them. They also have an in depth understanding how one is affected by Image and Language as well as being highly versed in Psychological conditioning techniques through Advertising and the Media.

BLACK MAGICK MASTERY OVER MATTER, WHICH BE NONE OTHER THAN SCIENCE

The Tremere are Blood Sorcerers in the game one can equate with hard core Sorcerers of the Goetia type, whom invoke Spirits as to control and direct that one can perceive as practicing Black Magick so that to attain mastery over Matter via the Mind.

THE INNER CIRCLE OF THE BENEFACTORS

As for the Ventrue they are perceived as being the leaders of all the other six Vampire Clans in the game whom enforce the ‘Masquerade’ so that the Vampire stays hidden as a shadowy unknown hunting their Human prey. In regards to the Sorcerer the Ventrue are organisers as well as being made up of material providing Benefactors whom watch over the welfare of the other Sorcerer Clans as well as having the tendency to be a mixture of all the Sorcerer Clan orientations!

THE ARCANE ELDERS ARCANA

At the head of all the Vampire Clans one has the Camarilla in the game, which is made up of the Elders from each individual Vampire Clan under a primary elected Leader. In regards to the Camarilla of Sorcerer it is the meeting point of all the other Sorcerer Clans to discuss strategic manoeuvres of initiating Novices into one of the Clans pertaining to their intrinsic natures. The Sorcerer Clans play Sorcerer Games of Set-Ups with one another whereby a Novice is given the impression that the Sorcerer Clans are competing with each other as if at War, whereby one of the Sorcerer Clans is classed as the ‘Bad Guy’ to keep the Novice on their toes but in essence it is merely a ruse of a ‘Role Playing Game’ and part of the Initiation process to be very much akin to the Sorcerers tactics utilised by the Sorcerer leader of a ‘Nagual’ called Don Juan from out of the books by Carlos Castaneda.

METAPSYCHIC GUILDS OF THE SORCERER CLANS HIDDEN AMIDST SHADOW   

The Masquerade is also applicable to that of the Sorcerer Clans for there be those of the ‘general public’ who can become extremely paranoid and potentially dangerous if they to know about ones Psychic abilities... one merely has to remember the ‘Witch Burning Days’ to see the truth in it! The Sorcerer Clans lend support to those whom feel persecuted… they even have Lawyers working for them!

The Vampire in context of the ‘Sorcerer Paradigm’ is that of the true orientation of humanity, which is in essence that of the Predator of varying orders of intensity to feed upon the other for the Universe and that of others numerous are essentially Predatory in nature from that of the Amoeba up the scale. I am not talking of the blood-Sucker type of Vampire but of those who utilise energetic Emotively Charged Situations in order to hit ones deepest wound of trauma to set up Synchronistic Situations for their own selves! Some people have a natural knack of picking on wounded Souls to feed off but then those of the wounded do call to them as the Prey to Predator whereupon to set up ‘Repeating Situations’ that a Vampire can Prey upon!

VAMPIRE WISDOM OF THE ORDER OF THE (DRACUL) DRAGON

The Sorcerers Clans are highly trained in the ways of the Vampire to either utilise their natural Predatory ability to turn around for Healing Purposes so as to derive energy from of a shared nature or to offset it so that one will never become as Prey… in regards to this they are knowledgeable about the ‘Petty Tyrants Wheel’ and that of the Petty Tyrants Repetitive Social games of Vampire strategies to either block or to use.

THOSE IN POWER GREATLY FEAR THOSE WHOM BE EMPOWERED

In this hypothetical Scenario the Sorcerers Clans have gathered together under the Sorcerer Masquerade for they are becoming aware of a gathering of undue interest in their abilities by certain government Intelligence Services of ‘Petty Tyrant’ who see them as a Danger and are in the process of gathering as much information about them as possible as well as determining a means to negate their abilities furtherance by cauterising the Psi-Gene being passed down through the generations.

MODERN DAY WITCH HUNT UNDERWAY

In other words there is an unseen Witch Hunt going on, which is, being backed up by Orthodox Religious and Political interests to use varying means to dumb down the Evolution of Consciousness so that to control the populace. However, one could also conjecture that the Powers that be are totally unaware that they have been ‘Set-up’ by the Sorcerers Clans to Test themselves in their Sorcery abilities to finely hone so as to ‘Evolve’ ever further but those in the know will not divulge apart from to smile knowingly to themselves within the shadow!

However, there are of course those who can do both whom have a Natural tendency to be Loners becoming ‘High Adepts’ whose symbol is that of an ‘Amphibious Reptile’ or Dragon representing the ability to be betwixt and between the Realms of Waking and Sleeping versed in Hypnagogic Trance States and Quantum Dream Engineering. The Sorcerers Teams are mainly made up of Two People, one being a Dreamer the other a Stalker who, are usually of the same sex.
